How much radiation is my patient exposed to?
For a 3D scan, The patient is only exposed to 2-6 sec of radiation. The total amount of radiation is only 29 usv. This is the LOWEST radiation dose of any 3D Cone Beam Machines available. In comparison, a CT of the same area is 2100 usv. That’s 80-100 times LESS radiation.

How long before the 3D scans are back?
Your 3D scans will take between 2-4 days to be delivered to you. This will include any hardcopies you have requested, either on film or photo paper.
Do you give the images to the patient or do you deliver them?
We will deliver the images to you, unless you fall out of the delivery area. In this case, we would suggest the patient take the scan or that we register post them.
Can you email the 3D images?
The file size is too large to send via email. However, we can email the area of interest hardcopies or the 2D Pan / OPG images.
